What is a Doula?
Doula, originally a Greek word meaning
'a woman who serves'
A doula is someone, usually a woman, who is a professional that is experienced in childbirth and the early days of parenthood, they support you throughout your pregnancy, birth and in the weeks after your baby is born.

Doulas are not medically trained but instead provide important physical, emotional, informational and practical support to women and families. As your doula I will provide you with non-judgemental support whilst you make your own informed decisions that best suit the wishes and needs of you and your family.
